The Recap:
The 2009 i to i, (Inlet to Inlet Distance
Race), race was run December 5, 2009.
Quick Recap:
Lucky number 13 sailors, a few less than last year's
turnout; conditions got more challenging as the wind
lightened,
and a pretty long way to sail with the nearly sideshore conditions,
38.3 miles on Ron's GPS from launch to landing. Incredible
drive
showed by Daniel Borsutzky and Beth Winkler who were determined to go
the whole distance, despite how long it took, over 5 hours +++ for
both.
