Thanks to those of you who competed in the I to I race this past weekend. Thanks to Ron for organizing. And thanks to you at home who cheered us on. We had a ton of fun.
Adventure Sports Fort Lauderdale was happy to host the after party and prize giving roundtable. We are enthused to have heard your comments and desires for more kiteboarding and windsurfing events. We would love to put together another event!
A lot of ideas were thrown around. We are planning to host another event in February for all disciplines: formula windsurfers, konas, SUP sailors, foiling kiters, raceboard, twintip, & strapless kiters. We’re thinking course races, team races, biggest air, best costume, things like that, and wrapping the event up with a pier to pier (Commercial to Atlantic) race before we head back to the after party. But what’s important is hearing directly from you with comments on what type event you want to participate in. Let us know your thoughts on how we can get the tribe together for a day of competitive fun!
